The process towards Aarhus applying to become European Capital of Culture in 2017 is divided into 4 steps or phases:
Phase 1: cultural mapping
Phase 2: visions
Phase 3: workshops
Phase 4: the final project proposal in 2011
All of these steps are necessary to prepare ourselves in the best manner making sure that all relevant participants, organisations and businesses have made their contributions to the project.
