Seven Deadly Sins: Euroinvasion

Presented by The Kastali’a Theatre School
Part of Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins – Euroinvasion is an artistic youth exchange, which asks: How can we Rethink the concept of sin today? The Kastali’a Theatre School, Randers, has invited 49 young performers from Slovenia, Greece, Portugal, Lithuania, The Czech Republic, Ireland and Denmark to participate.

Each of the seven countries has interpreted one of the seven deadly sins. Villages in the region around Aarhus will be invaded by a colourful parade that includes these special street theatres. Based on our common European cultural heritage and the medieval concept of the seven deadly sins, the young artists in Euroinvasion have interpreted each theme through the perspective of their own contemporary time and cultural identity.

Euroinvasion stimulates a rethinking of society's values, looking at issues such as religious and political conflicts, economic crisis and lack of resources. Takes place in Bønnerup in Norddjurs Municipality and Voldum in Favrskov Municipality.
