The Red Hour

Presented by Musikteatret Holstebro and Black Box Dance Company

Full of energy and colourful movement, The Red Hour dance performance with Black Box Dance Company and local artists will be performed both in Pafos, Cyprus and in Holstebro, Denmark.

The Red Hour is choreographed by the international duo, Fotis Nikolaou, Cyprus and Melody Putu, South Africa. The Red Hour takes its cue from the idea of starting over and over again, celebrating the pattern of history that honours people’s ability to move forward, to survive and to create, no matter how harsh and violent reality or situations can be.

Local audiences will immediately recognize their own struggles and identify with all the people that have lived before them in that same place and recognize that the human race, in general, has a similar pattern of fighting, surviving, dreaming and hoping. The audience can look forward to a fantastic outdoor dance performance under the open sky.
