Take a chauffeur driven journey to a secret Aarhus location and step inside the futuristic world of 2097.
Brought to you by multi-award winning UK artists’ group Blast Theory, ‘2097: We Made Ourselves Over, Live in Aarhus’ combines theatre, audio and installation to create an unforgettable experience.
Once you have been collected from the city centre in your own electric vehicle, you will be transported at night to a secret city location.
Explore the tunnels, stairwells, and floodlit spaces of 2097 using a handheld GPS device. Uncover a world where consciousness is transferred from the dead to the living and molecular harvesters destroy cities and rebuild them.
Find the person from the future before time runs out and you are returned to the present.
This is a night trip into your future, immersed in a hypnotic soundtrack of techno beats and deep brooding rumbles.
Blast Theory are renowned worldwide for their interactive experiences mixing games, theatre and technology. Their work has been shown at Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Venice Biennale and the Royal Opera House in London.
