HollyWoodge Cross-pollination between Culture and the Labour Market

HollyWoodge Cross-pollination between Culture and the Labour Market

Presented by Aarhus Municipality and Job Centre, Aarhus

Four European cities have joined forces to explore the potential of bringing together artists, entrepreneurs and unemployed young people across Europe. Aarhus Municipality is cooperating with three cities with experience in getting unemployed young people into work or education: Lodz (pronounced Woodge, hence the name HollyWoodge) in Poland, Rotterdam in the Netherlands and Hull in Great Britain.

From Aarhus there are participants from School of Street Art, Aarhus Production School, Aarhus Film Workshop and Puppet Theatre Mecklenborg. From Rotterdam an opera academy participates. Hull is represented by its Cultural Department, and from Lodz numerous cultural institutions participating, including their famous film school.
