The Good Madness Festival

An Aarhus 2017 Festival Event
Presented by VIA University College

The Good Madness Festival is a collaboration between De Splittergale, a music and theatre group, VIA UC, Aarhus and the Department of Social Services and Employment of the Municipality of Aarhus. The purpose of the project is to give art a new role in public social work, place culturally marginalized groups at the centre, uncover resources in people who live ‘on the
fringe’ and to challenge and rethink the concept of normality.

The project contains 3 activity tracks, which supplement each other: Gypsy festivals, musical shows put on by socially marginalized people and VIA students, and a documentation track.
