Hot Diggity Dog! Some of the most popular and acclaimed chefs create reinterpretations of the classic hotdog. This major event, a popular highlight of the Food Festival, is a magnet for foodies who love the tradition of ‘doggies’ with toppings.
The jury selects a winner in the categories ‘traditional’ hotdog and the ‘modern’ hotdog. If previous experience is anything to go by, the diners can expect lots of experimental hotdog servings such as living lemon-ants crawling up your hotdog, hotdogs served in bread as black as coal and hotdogs served by masked, dancing waitresses.
