European Community Media Center Aarhus (EUCMC Aarhus), is hosting a conference on Media Literacy in Aarhus, Denmark on the 6., 7. and 8. of October 2017.
The event takes place in Gellerup - an intercultural area in Aarhus with more than 80 different ethnic groups - in Foreningernes Hus, Gudrunsvej 10A, 8220 Brabrand.
The conference is open to the public on Saturday the 7. of October between 14.30 and 18.00 (gratis).
Summary of the Project
The main goal of the project 'Media Literacy: Step to Inclusive Society', strongly influenced by the common European challenges regarding migrant crisis, is to contribute to building greater tolerance towards cultural diversity in Europe, as well as to developing more critical stand towards media products while acknowledging the best ways to use media for creating better functioning multicultural societies.

Education, development of competences, sharing of knowledge and exchange of ideas is key to our values of citizenship and democracy -not only locally but also in the European perspective.
